PAUL BOTTERO | President and CEO
A consummate business manager and skilled entrepreneur, inMotive is Paul’s third startup venture. As a co-founder, Paul’s development responsibilities include: fundraising, strategy, sales & marketing, talent, and leadership. He also has extensive experience stewarding larger companies, having served as President of the Canadian subsidiary of a multinational IT services firm for 7 years. During the course of his leadership, Paul grew the company to over $40 million in sales, expanded its service offerings and national presence, and successfully navigated it through one of the industry’s most difficult market phases. Paul’s life-long passion for entrepreneurship, his professional experience and his natural drive to succeed have served him well in leading inMotive on its groundbreaking journey.
RAJ MATHUR | Managing Director
Raj is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector having served the automotive and electronics industries, running multiple P&Ls. He has had wide international business experience with M&A and setting up and managing greenfield operations in North America, Europe and Asia. During the last 20 years, Raj has successfully managed to achieve high growth rates and diversify the businesses. He currently serves on several boards both for profit and non-profit organizations. Raj joins inMotive as a shareholder to facilitate its transition from a pre-revenue to a significant operating company.
Raj is a graduate mechanical engineer and has also obtained a diploma from the Richard Ivey School of Business, in the Executive Program. He is actively involved with the prestigious YPO-WPO organization and has served in several Board and leadership positions in the last twelve years.
ANTHONY WONG | Chief Technical Officer
A genuine out-of-the-box thinker, Anthony is an inventor and technologist, who has had a lifelong interest in electronics and mechanical design, as well as a passion for robotics, industrial design and manufacturing. His diverse, 12-year career has afforded him broad exposure to all aspects of technology, intellectual property development and commercialization. Anthony’s comprehensive portfolio includes project management, software development, mathematical, statistical and data analysis applications, CAD design, CAM programming, mechanical design validation, IT networking protocols and hardware. As the creative force behind the inGear technology, Anthony is responsible for the ongoing design, development and testing of inMotive’s products and technology.
MATS LIPOWSKI | Engineering Consultant
Mats has over 20 years of automotive research and development experience. He has a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering and has developed several of his own patents, some of which are currently in use in the automotive industry. Mats has 10 years of project management experience for various companies, including the Litens Automotive Group (part of the Magna group of companies). Mats has been working extensively with belts, tensioners, gearboxes, engines and pulleys since 1992; his experience and technical insights in this area are invaluable to the development of inMotive’s inGear technology.
MARK MURRAY | Chief Financial Officer
A technology entrepreneur in his own right, in 2001, Mark co-founded Natural Convergence Inc., a software company in the VoIP space that, under his leadership, raised over US$30M in venture capital funding. From a two-person start-up, the company grew to international stature, deploying product to service providers in Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean and Europe, reaching multi-million dollar revenues. Prior to Natural Convergence, Mark held senior financial roles with Nortel Networks, and worked in both Canada and Australia for the global accounting firm KPMG. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and has over 25 years of business experience.
MICHAEL DOYLE | Vice-President, Legal Affairs
Called to the Ontario Bar in 2001, Michael has practiced corporate/commercial litigation for twelve years. One of inMotive’s founders, Michael has shepherded development of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, overseeing patent prosecution and strategy, the identification and protection of proprietary technology, and legal aspects of marketing and business development. In addition, he is inMotive’s lead on general corporate legal matters, acting as corporate secretary and instructing external counsel. Michael is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
