We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Duties:

  • Create detailed technical drawings using Solidworks. In compliance with ASME Y14.5 2018.

  • Utilize CAD software (Solidworks) to create detailed 3D designs involving parts like gears, sprockets, chains, housings, and linkages. Make assemblies with proper mates (mechanical mates, standard mates, advance mates, etc.).

  • Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.

  • Review and analyze design specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

  • Prepare and modify drawings according to project needs.

  • Incorporate changes and revisions into existing drawings.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks + PDM).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications (GD&T).

  • Knowledge of drafting standards and practices.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Expectation:

  • You can create interference-free dynamic assemblies in SolidWorks.

  • You have a good understanding of bearings, seals, linkages, and bolted joints.

  • You can make complex parts drawings such as transmission case, engine block, engine head, camshaft, crankshaft, pump housing, etc. in compliance with ASME Y14.5 2018.

  • You are proficient in revision control of drawings and design.

  • You can work collaboratively on large complex assemblies with other designers.

Experience:

  • SolidWorks: 2+ years

  • Drafting: 2+ years
